Our services for
wine companies

  • Greenhouse Gas Emission Inventory: identify and calculate your Greenhouse Gas Emissions paving the way for effective and measurable reduction strategies. We use the guidelines from International Wineries for Climate Action (IWCA).
  • Strategy: creating a tailor-made strategy and roadmap for more sustainable business operations. We align a strategy with your company’s vision as we understand the trade-offs you make between economic decisions, mandatory regulations, and your company’s sustainability goals.
  • Guide you through the Standards of Engagement of your client in which reporting Greenhouse Gas Emission is a subject.
  • Preparation for Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD): as the regulatory environment tightens, we ensure your business is fully prepared to meet the requirements of the new European Legislation of CSRD.
  • It is crucial to start preparing now for the CSRD and a sustainability strategy that you might want to implement only a few years from now. This means understanding what information needs to be collected and reported. Early planning can prevent a lot of stress and will give you an advantage over your competitors.

Frequently Asked Questions:

The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) aims to bolster transparency in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) matters, offering stakeholders deeper insights into the non-financial impact of companies. This directive marks a significant step toward more sustainable business practices across the EU. It brings extensive new reporting obligations for EU companies.

The timeline for the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) implementation is structured to phase in the requirements over several years, allowing entities time to adapt.

However, it is important to understand that it continually revolves around a life cycle analysis. This means that your company may not yet be eligible to report on your sustainable efforts and goals for CSRD, but if your client is a listed company, it is already subject to these regulations. Because of the life cycle analysis, they will require suppliers to report on emissions in line with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol.
